Today I did a photoshoot for the Midlands Meander Education Project. The staff were having their teambuilding at Stonehaven, creating landscape art in the grasslands.
I imagine this photo as a book cover… like “Before she knew…” or something equally vague and dramatic.
I used a tripod, a timer and myself as a model. I added a histogram effect to add intensity and mystery.
I have no idea what you’re talking about, so here’s a picture of a light-man mopping under a tree.
This photo was quite fun to do. I used black string to tie the mop to the the tree (to keep it upright), put the camera on a timer and a slow shutter speed and drew the man with a battery-operated reading light. I had to run back and forth a few times before I got the little guy to resemble anything recognisable.
We were hiking through Cumberland nature Reserve and I thought the sign was a nice contrast to the grassland and the “table mountain” in the background. Everything was so pretty and green, I can’t wait to go back.
